Second competition results

The second competition took place last week. Same as last year, we finished third out of five participants, but we made progress on the semantic mapping part with the best grades on these criteria. Unfortunately, last minute navigation problems prevented us to perform the full environment exploration, and the resulting map is only partial. First competition results

The first competition took place last week. We finished third out of five participants. Given the short time we had for integration for this first year, this is a decent result, but we lacked time to conduct exhaustive testing before competition. We are already back to work for next year, with a lot of planned improvements. Here is a description of our robot that attended the competition this year (click for pdf version):
